Microtonal Guitar Scale / Theory Books

 

      (31-tone, Bohlen-Pierce, 16-tone, 21-tone Guitar Scale-Book covers)



So far I've written microtonal scale chart and theory books for 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 26, 27, 29, 31, 41, 46, and 53-equal divisions of the octave for guitar (with many pending). It is a hobby, art, and deep interest of mine to play new scales, harmonies, new progressions (exploring comma pumps), and things in general that make my ears perk up.

    These are some of the first microtonal Guitar books which feature scale chart diagrams. Many of these scales were never played or let alone seen on a guitar neck before. There are hundreds, if not thousands of new and different scales other than the diatonic scale right here in these books. These books are of great assistance to anyone wanting to hear fresh new harmonies and moods, making truly 'new' music, or those interested in better approximations of ethnomusic scales. These are all based on and organizd using MOS-like patterns using various generators in each equal temperament. The result is the proper fretboard exploration of various forms of Blackwood, Cynder, Father, Lemba, Liese, Magic, Miracle, Mohajira, Mavila, Negri, Orwell, Superpyth, etc, etc, etc, as well as scales layed out by Erv Wilson- a large inspiration for my current work and focus....more soon....
